Is SGP certified and insured?

What are your indicative rates?

How long is an SGP contract?
Standard contracts run for 12 months and renew automatically with 3 months' notice. Shorter contracts are available for event-based or one-off missions.
Are SGP officers armed?
Carrying firearms is strictly regulated in Switzerland and limited to specific missions (valuables transport, close protection with confirmed threats) with cantonal authorisation. The vast majority of our missions are unarmed.
Can I change my mind after signing?
Under Swiss law, you have a statutory cooling-off period for certain consumer services. For B2B contracts, termination conditions are set out in the contract itself.
Are video recordings kept for long?
In line with the Swiss LPD/nLPD, the standard retention period is 30 days. The duration can be adjusted to your needs and specific legal obligations (e.g. banking data).
How does alarm verification work?
When an alarm is triggered, our operator checks the nature of the intrusion via cameras (live view), audio (ambient listening) or an on-site call. This step prevents false alerts and enables a proportionate response.
Does SGP intervene in cyberattacks?
No. We specialise in physical security (manned + technical). For cybersecurity, we can recommend certified partners we work with on integrated setups.
Can I arm and disarm my alarm remotely?
Yes. The SGP mobile app lets you arm and disarm the system, view history, watch live cameras and receive real-time notifications.
What warranties cover the installed equipment?
Manufacturer warranty 2 to 5 years depending on the brand. Annual preventive maintenance recommended (contracts from 120 CHF/year) to keep warranties valid.
Does SGP comply with the EU GDPR?
Yes. Although Switzerland is not in the EU, we comply with GDPR requirements for clients with sites in the EU or for European nationals, alongside the Swiss LPD/nLPD.
